Justin Hawkins has left the Darkness due to his drug problem.

Hawkins admits spending $300,000 on cocaine over the past three years, sometimes paying over £1,000 per week for an enormous 5grams of coke each day.

Justin has decided to quit the group after spending time at The Priory, a rehab clinic, and staying clean for two months.

He plans to do a solo record sometime in the future and perhaps get into scoring films, whilst the Darkness will continue with a new frontman.

Hawkins saying that he can’t remember much of the past three years due to “blackouts” and said that “I was always off my face”.
