Evanescence have come a long way since their first album, developing their music all the time.

Perhaps they can replicate or even be more successful than their debut album which sold over 7 million copies.

The Open Door should please the Evanescence fans as it contains a lot of the stuff that fans love as well as some important improvements that will thrill long term fans and may even bring in some new fans that previously hasn’t particularly liked the band.

Some of the best songs on Open The Door are probably the weirdest though, In “Snow White Queen” she sings about a fan who was stalking her but it still a pretty good tune.
