Peter Gabriel has revealed that he turned down a reunion with Genesis.

As Phil Collins & Co. get ready to go back on the touring road the band’s ex-frontman was asked to play with them again.

Gabriel, who is enjoying a very successful solo career, decided not to got on tour as he has his own projects to work on.

“There were conversations and I decided not to be a part of it. I’m very happy for them. It’s not that I’ve ruled it out, but I’ve got some new material that I’ll be working on.”

Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford are going to confirm their plans soon, their spokesman said.
