The “Pitbull in a skirt” rapper from Philadelphia has been out of the limelight for four years, but Eve is back at the end of this year sounding more tuneful than ever! Her four years away from the microphone has made her realise that she has to change her approach to her music. She decided to take her chances and give her pipes a test!
Eve seems pretty excited about this whole new venture, but insists that her Hip-Hop routes will not be left in the past, “I come from Hip-Hop so there’s definitely [going to be] Hip-Hop, but I’m singing for the first time on this album”
It wasn’t only Eve that wanted to try her singing voice out on this album, she talks of how her record company have been wanting Eve to sing on her records for a long time. Eve also thinks of her fans, and how she doesn’t want them to be listening to her fourth album, thinking how it’s exactly like her third,
“I did a song with Pharrell where I sang the whole song, which is something the label has always wanted me to do [in the past]. But I’ve never had the courage to do it. Now I felt like I’d take the gamble because it’s the fourth album, and why buy my album if you’re going to hear the same thing you heard three years ago?”
With Eve promising us a tune, and a collaboration with the Neptunes, this album is definitely one not to be missed!
oh mygod, I bet that Album is going to be hot, I know when ever it comes out I am going to get that, Eve is a very pretty and talented person, I think that she could do anything that she puts her mind to
